Post subject:  Replacement Stays for i-Sail Kit

I recently bought a sail kit for me new i12s, but I couldn't find the stays or clips.

The place I bought it has been helpful in trying to get a replacement, but I'm thinking I could replace them with normal lines and clips.

I know some people have created custom top-of-mast furlers for the inflatable sail kits.

Can anyone share some parts or specs for the stay lines and the hooks so I can replace quickly?

Thanks!

Did you get the correct kit? Should have a 4 piece mast and a webbing loop to tie the stays to. Odd they would be missing.

24.5 feet cut into 3 lines. 3 HOOK, 1/4 SHK CRD, NYLON, BLK

Thanks @mmilleer.

Yes, it's the right kit.. It's the correct instructions and it's white with yellow and it has the mount hook on the mast.

I either dropped it in the parking lot or if fell out of the car at lunch.

Can you help expand some of those parts:
1/4 inch black nylon shock cord?
What do the hooks look like?
Is there an explicit part I can order?

Is this something I can pickup at west marine or defender.com in short order?

Best.

That is a hook (for 1/4" shock cord).

This is our #2102 or Seadog has them as https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?id=208848

I tried it using shock cord (bungie) and it just didn't feel right. I feel like stays should not be that stretchy.

So I ended up using normal cord. Can anyone double confirm whats in your kit?

Yes, a low stretch line is required. Not shock cord. The only reference to shock cord is the type of hook we use.
