| Post subject: | Righting after flipping i12s |
Flipped my i12s under sail. (was sitting high and fussing with the downwind stays when a gust got me-- won't do that again). Luckily everything was tied down and I didn't lose the Mirage. Double luckily a buddy showed up quickly and helped me flip it back over easily. (protip: use clips, untying a tied sail stay underwater was no fun) While I was out there I was trying to think of clever ways to flip if back myself. Anyone got any pointers? I was thinking of trying to use the oars as a lever midship or some how with the chair? Thanks! |
