Post subject:  Sail kit for the i12?

Went out yesterday and had a great day. Was thinking of trying to track down a sail kit for our i12's
Looks like the accessories catalog show one for the hard shell kayak and one for the inflatables. It "appears" that the only difference is the mask is in four pieces, not two for the hard shell? Not sure if the part # is still good for the inflatables, since the new ones don't appear to be able to use a sail.

So, my two questions are:

1. Anyone had any experience with using an i12 with sail? I did upgrade to the larger rudder...

2. Do you think I can find the original sail kit for the inflatables #84516002 or should I just look for the regular sail kit?
I have not checked yet with my local dealer

3. Do you have to set up the sail kit on land or can it be deployed on the water?

4. Should I upgrade to turbo fins for more keel effect?

Thanks

i12s benefits a lot from turbo fins. The i-sail has 3 shrouds to hold it up, since the floor isn't rigid enough for standard unstayed mast. It works great upwind and sort of good to the side, but is slow downwind since there is no boom to hold it open wide (and of course apparent wind is dampened by your motion). I loved sailing it, but had to be cautious about squalls because I needed to stop in shallow water in order to put the sail up or down.

Cool video
Thanks for sharing, Is that the sail kit for the inflatable or just the regular sail kit?
Was the mask a two piece or a four piece?
Not sure what availability from Hobie is right now, but I should get one ;-)
