Hi all, recently purchased an i14t. Its an older model that has been stored in factory warehouse in original Hobie packaging. I got 2 uses out of it before an internal air bladder failed. Now Hobie is saying they will not honor their 2 year warranty because it is too old. Serial number says it was produced in 2016 but never used. I feel this is unfair to both the customer and retailer that Hobie will not honor any form of warranty. Any experience dealing with the team at Hobie? Any advice on how to proceed? I spent a good chunk of change and have been without a boat all season due to this any info is appreciated, thanks. |
