I’m considering buying a new in the box 2018 itrek duo but having a hard time finding what changes were made between then and current year models. Anyone with any experience in the 2018’s? |

There were no iTrek kayaks in 2018 as they were introduced in January 2021 and the Duo became available early 2022. The only tandem inflatable available in 2018 was the i14T which was very different in every way from the iTrek Duo. Thanks to the Wayback Machine, you can view i14T details here: https://web.archive.org/web/20180909002126/https://www.hobie.com/kayaks/mirage-i14t/ I would not buy an inflatable kayak that has been sitting folded in a box for 5 years, and especially not the i series which has a usable life of 3-5 years.
