As convenient as the twist and stow hatches are to have right in front of you, anything you put in there will easily find its way to "who knows where" in the hull. The only product I can find that fits into the roughly 8.5" hatch opening is the tackle box. Does anyone know if there are hatch bags or something else that can fit these openings to keep your small items in one place in the hull? In the sail catalog I noticed there are bags available for this purpose, but only up to a 6" opening. http://www.hobiecat.com/media/pdf/eSail ... _30-35.pdf |

I put anything I want that will fit in the center hatch, but leash it so it's still in reach when I need it. ![]() |

an empty plastic ice cream container works well , a bit of sikaflex on the bottom to keep it in place , job done . |

I use that rubberised mat that stops things sliding about on smooth surfaces. This works well enough I find but I also like the idea of attaching some tethers as per the previous response to this thread and will probably implement this in te near future. |
