Post subject:  Homemade Cover for my Hobie TI

I've had my Hobie TI for a little over a month now. I've used it once, brought it home and washed it good then put her in her place in the garage. Although the garage is closed in my woodworking shop and storage for my business are in the garage also (although the wood shop is closed off from the rest of the garage) the doors are open from time to time and and dust gets in.

I noticed dust gathering on my TI and didn't care for it so I figured I needed a cover. I looked online and found some for about $200 but I didn't want to fork out the money so I figured myself and a sewing machine could whip something together.

Went to the fabric store and found some decent polyester fabric on sale for $2.00 a yard and bought 10 yards (only used about 6). I have about 5 hours total in the cover and I think it turned out really well.

The front isn't as tight as I'd wanted it but it still looks pretty good. I just have it bungied under the bottom, not to tight, just snug. It's not meant to be used while towing down the road, just when in storage.

Only a month or less till the water warms up in my area and this bad boy gets some good use!

I am very lucky here, I wash mine in salt water at least once a week, and then hose off the salt with fresh at the ramp. :D
But very nice job on the cover, looks really good.
