JW on a TI….. Im Right Handed…. Understand most leave Left AMA available to fold up to bring fish alongside….. JW if its easier to grab and release the rod using a Scotty Rod Holder with the Twist Ring Retainer on the Left or Right???? Thanks |

I'm right handed and have rods on both sides. I tend to want to use the one on the left the most. I think you want to imagine pulling the rod out of the holder and that should be your strongest arm. |

Ive got holders on both sides, but tend to use the one in the right the most. I also don't bother to fold in the am a anymore, just slide the fish up in the gap between ama and hull Fromm the back. Occasionally, I'll gaff a fish or net one over the ama from out on the tramps or haka, but thats rare these days |

Thanks for your advice.....I was playing around w Rod Holder w rod butt in it..... Seems the Butt extends into cockpit, bumping into my legs..... I'll keep playing with it |
