I am looking for mounting suggestions to allow "Lowrance Elite 4 HDI" viewing/ control from either front or reas seat on 2015 Hobie TI. TI and Lowrance are both on order. Thanks for your best ideas!

This morning I made a hybrid stand which is suitable for fishfinders with lighter weight :)

1. 72023021 FISHFINDER MOUNT II
2. 72023032 CAMERA MOUNT 18” ARMS (PAIR)
3. 72020054 SCREWBALL 1-1/2”, 1/2” MIGHTYBOLT
4. 86505621 HOBIE THRU HULL WIRING KIT
5. 72020057 GEARTRAC-8”, 2 PACK W/ MOUNTING HARDWARE

This is my setup:

RailBlaza:
1. 02-4030-11 PlatformBoom 150
2. 03-4001-11 StarPort Pair Black

YakAttack
3. Knob - 1/4-20 Threads - 6 pack
3. MB15-12-6 - MightyBolt - 1-1/2" lg - 1/2 wide - 6 pack

Hobie:
4. 72020057 GEARTRAC-8”, 2 PACK W/ MOUNTING HARDWARE
5. 72020054 SCREWBALL 1-1/2”, 1/2” MIGHTYBOLT
6. 72023035 RAM 18” MOUNT TRANSDUCER

RAM
7. RAM SINGLE SOCKET ARM WITH OCTAGON FEMALE

But this is for fishfinders with bigger display, because the PlatformBoom 150 is too short.
I swapped the standard ball 1” with 1-1/2”, because in this way transducer is much more stable.

I use a similar setup, just with the railblaza extension/swivel arm platform.

Mine is mainly for rear seat use; depending on where you put the starport on the hull you could probably see it from the front seat.

Thanks for the pics and ideas JB and RH! Your pics and descriptions gave me the info I needed to select. Because I have a smaller Elite 4 HDI I ended up going with:

1. 72023024 FISHFINDER MOUNT III for Elite 4 series
2. Dogbone extender pole which uses Ball connects on both ends.
3. 72020054 SCREWBALL 1-1/2”, 1/2” MIGHTYBOLT
4. 72020057 GEARTRAC-8”, 2 PACK W/ MOUNTING HARDWARE

2015 TI is already fitted for through hull wire and transducer connects. The TI should arrive within a month!!!

Do any of you guys use a backing plate on the Geartrac with such a long arm?
