Post subject: | Hobie Compass Rudder Line Pulley - where does it mount? |
I've always had trouble with my rudder not going down. After inspection I found the line was binding so I looked inside and found a pulley that was not mounted (still attached to the line just not mounted to the boat frame). It's a plastic pulley with one bolt hole. Anyone know where it mounts? I can't find the receiving nut. Bolt size? I have a photo of the part but can't seem to find a way to attach it. Thanks! Jerry |

Hello, Try to identify a location on the frame where the pulley could be attached. For the bolt and nut size, you could try measuring the hole of the pulley and visit a hardware store to find a matching bolt with the appropriate nut. If you still have doubts, consulting your boat's manual or seeking the advice of a marine mechanic could be helpful. ________________ My website |
