Post subject: | What GPS/FISH finder is the best to use. |
I am looking to put a GPS/Fish finder on my AI. I want something that I can use for both. The Ideal unit on the GS side will have all the gs tracking info, speed, course, etc. But I also want it to have the ability to record my track for the day. From start to finish I want to be able to show on Google earth my route, course and speed on the track. I would alos like to be able to use it as a fish finder when I go fisshing in San Diego. Any ideas sugestions and PICTURES would be great. How do you ower the units that do not have enternal battires? I am not worried about turning over the AI but in the event I do it has to be water proof. Any mounting sugestions and locations would be great as well. One las thing. I would like to be able to take the unit off the Kayak and use it on my Catalia 250 sailboat as well. I can get an extra transducer for the 250. I just want to unplug from one and pop into the other. Thanks for all the help. |
