Post subject:  Sailing on Lake Samsonvale - calling all SEQLD owners

Hi all SEQLD AI sailors
my new AI mate Ross and i took a sail on Lake Samsonvale recently, Ross taking some video, see below link:

http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=hf7YOgK5gfo

and some pikkies at:

http://www.akff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=23088

Ross has joined the Lake sailing club and the AI ownership at the Lake is now at the minimum for having our own social race class, BUT we would like some more AI owners in the SEQLD area to consider joining up to make for great sailing together. If you are at all interested see the Lake Samsonvale Water Sports Assoc website and click on the AI page link:

Hope to hear from you..........

Cheers
Bob

G'day Bob,

It was much more "civilised" (read "drier") than sailing on Moreton Bay in the same strength winds, see: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=84kUaZdAS ... annel_page

Another benefit was that I didn't have to wash the salt off at the end of the day :D

I'll still continue to sail and fish in the Bay of course but look forward to a couple of Samsonvale outings per month and the opportunity to meet (and race with) likeminded people.

Cheers,

Ross

Thought it might be time to give this a bump given that there should be a few more AI owners around in SEQ by now
