Some great spots around the Lower Murray Lakes.
OK, is a bit far. Must be some good places closer.

we took a couple of AIs down around Loreto a few summers back- bunch of islands offshore, nice protected bays. Camping on the beach. Seemed like AI heaven.

Hey Fred.

Here is a tip - use Forum personal mail instead of posting your email address on the forum which is open to the public.

How to:
Note the user name (Author) who you want to contact.
Click on the 0 New Messages on the top left.
Select Compose Message
In the send to box Usernames: enter the user name then create your message.

Keep an eye on the 0 New Messages when logged on, for a response.
You can also select Notify Me when a reply is posted as one of the options when posting.
Can be interesting to see the replies but can verge on SPAM. You can always turn it off later.

While I'm on the wagon, also add your location to your profile. That will assist some (not me) to
respond more appropriately.

A few of the more experienced use these features often.
I know you can get another Yahoo address but it is just inconvenient.

Loreto is halfway down Baja on the sea of cortex side. About an hour north or so of LA Paz.
I'm sure you could easily rent a house down there. Buddy of mine has a long term lease on a palapa palace just south of town, so I know it can be done.

Takes one overnight from San Diego to drive down. Drive is safe, if remote, with plenty of federales checking cars along the way. All nice guys.
