| Post subject: | Who is serious about a multi day trip NJ/NY/PA - 2015 |
Who is ready to start planning a multi day trip, maybe 3-5 days. I am ready to commit to some dates and work with the group to find a place we can all agree on. I am thinking NJ Inercoastal, Long Island or Northern part of Chesapeake Bay Any and all ideas welcome |

Hey Yakman. I have a 17 on the south shore of LI, and have been wanting to sail it south. Like way south, I was even thinking if i took an initial week off from work, got it as many states down as I could, stash it, and then fly back to it later in the year for another week until I make it to the Keys. The stashing thing is the hardest part obviously. Other than traversing the mouth of NY harbor/delaware/chesapeake, should be pretty safe sailing along the beach or bayside in fair weather, beaching if things get bad. More worried about headwinds than anything else. What kind of trip did you have in mind? |
