Where in OBX are you? KittyHawk area: If the Ocean is too rough, theres a nice spot up around MP 1 on the sound side. I forgot the name, but its a public launch on the Sound with some parking. I usually launch there when the oceans too rough. Either that or driving down towards Manteo- theres a Kitty Hawk Sports by Sugar Shack where you could launch into the Sound. |

There is a nce landing before you get to manteo. Its on the left after you pass the first long bridge into manteo. This is the sound side. |
