Hi all. I've gotten pretty interested in AI's although I've never sailed one yet. I have 2 in my area that I could potentially nab.
The 2013 has the tramps, cover and trax cart thrown in for around 2400.
The 2018 is just the boat (no tramps, cover or cart) and is 3600.

I dig the new seat in the 2018 a lot, but not sure if it's worth the extra money or not. I have read the hull is better amongst other upgrades.

The owner of the 2013 says I should just buy his (of course) to see if I love or hate it an it's less of an investment.
The 2018 one is actually going to take me out tomorrow, so I'll get some first hand experience with it.

Mostly just trying to see if the newer additions are worth the price to folks.

yes, and thats before you take on board wear and tear on the drive etc. The newer boat is also a heavier and bulkier boat, so you have to take the manhandling into consideration. After you have had it a year you will forget the cost difference, and if you go the older model you will start the "if only" doubts.

If you have the coin get the best you can get.

Hi 4004. I should go for the 2018. just be careful with the new seat because some people creacked the hull with it. there is a higher pressure on the hull, probably u can avoud that problem with some extra rubber stuff where the seat press on the hull.
