how do you keep your main sheet and furling lines where you need them? Mine end up where I can't reach them, over-board or tangled up in the mirage drive. |

A good start is to tie the ends of the furling line and mainsheet together. Keeps them in reach, and mostly where you want 'em. |

I have fitted a longer furling line and run it through an eye I have mounted over the rudder downhaul and simply tie a knot in the end of it. This keeps it within easy reach. I have fitted a caribiner to the eye that you run the dagger board elastic through and run the mainsheet through the caribiner with a knot in the end. Again, always within easy reach. |

Like Joseph Thompson said: ![]() A permanent loop in the sheet line, to tie the reefing line to. Also, used to keep the lines tight during transport: ![]() |
