My dealer contacted Hobie about production of a wave deflector that would fit
on the Adventures. Matt told him that Hobie is so busy with orders and production
of Kayaks that any possible manufacturing of a wave deflector would be postponed until
at least the Fall if not later.

Not exactly my words...

I have said in these forums that I will ask the Hobie engineers to look at the idea. With design, testing and fabrication I have said it will take some time. We also have to get their attention as we do have many ongoing projects.

This would have to be added to my development wish list for our factory engineers. I have asked them to consider it.

And in response to someone thinking it would be soon...

I don't know about... before the snow melts. This will take some time in engineering and testing. May be a bit longer before we can come up with something good.

Fall is a good target though. That is the next catalog cycle where we typically try to add new stuff.
