Post subject: | AI Limited Edition with blue hull and ivory-dune amas |
Hi, I'm new to this forum. I live at a lake in Germany and plan to buy an AI soon. Our local dealer emailed me, that he has a limited edition AI with blue hull, ivory-dune amas and white and silver sail. Do you know something about such a limited edition or may this be an upgraded blue mirage? Are there any pictures of an AI in that color version? I can´t imagine,if the blue hull /dune amas-mix is a nice looking combination. Best regards Rudi - sorry for my bad english - |

Hmm - I think this must have originally been a Hobie Mirage Adventure Kayak that has been converted to an Adventure Island. ![]() |

Could be wrong but sounds like a caribbean blue Adventure with an ivory dune Island upgrade kit. The ivory dune kit comes with the "silver"/gray and white sail. I have seen pictures of an all blue Adventure Island with surfboards on the akas. |

The Yellow AI's are best to be seen on the water, but the White ones do look very nice! The blue hull sounds interesting. |

I had a blue open ocean trident before I got a dune adventure with a blue sail. My wife prefers yellow kayaks just because they are safer/more visible. I prefer all dune but dune blue sounds interesting especially if it was at a discount and had a warranty. It would be sometime before you would see a copy of your boat on the water. |

Would like to see a picture though. There's nought wrong with your english. |

Looks EXCELLENT. Thats probably the only color combination that will work for the dune out riggers other than a dune yak itself. Blue yak with Gray sail and dune out riggers. I think I read that the gray sail color you show is rare though. I think what you have is better looking than an all blue AI. I'd get it for sure. Press for a discount. |

I agree. This is a good looking boat. The gray sail and dune outriggers with the blue body is very cool. |

@sammy: very interesting post ![]() The price of this boat is hot (for Germany, everything is here very very expensive (and everything that would be fun to do is forbidden, I will leave this f...ing Country soon going to the Canary Islands with my lovely big dog and - hopely this AI ![]() But this fine design is so much fun for the money, I think. I MUST have it! |

I'd get it for sure. To me it looks like a custom/high performance version that you would see in competitions, all based on color scheme. That ride is smoking. I always felt that the all red version looked like an F1 or Indy car. And now,,,so does that. HOT!!!GET IT. |

Rudi, once you get it out on the water, you'll probably be having too much fun to care what colour it is. |
