I am interested in the new Tandem Island. Although I will probably single handle most of the time, it would be great to have a crew option, not to mention some extra storage space. Any reviews yet and what are the single handling characteristics? How much more does it cost than the Adventure Island? |

Roadrunner has posted a review on these forums: http://www.hobiecat.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=22795 I'm not sure of pricing where you are, but the prices at my local Canadian dealer for the two boats are as follows: Adventure Island: $3,795 (Canadian Dollars) Tandem Island: $5,150 (Canadian Dollars) Hopefully that answers some of your questions, I believe that I heard something about the American price being in or around $4,700 at dealers. But don't quote me on that, I only know the price of the boats at my local Canadian dealer. |
