After a couple months of sailing I notice my Telltales ribons were not doing their jobs they started to frayed and the threads were getting stuck and tangled . My wife sugested that I use "Fray Away" (seamtress uses that stuff) so I cut the frayed treads and applied that stuff plus it is waterproof and wont stiff . Went for a sail and it worked great, so I figure my telltales would get probably a few extra miles. Dan |

Good find. A lot of people get rid of the original ones and go for the thin ribbon style ones such as "Black Beauty Telltales". https://www.hobiecat.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=11722&start=0 |

ElementAI wrote: Get the BLACK BEAUTY telltales they are awesome Gonna have to agree here, I got them a month ago and you can micro-trim the sail 10 times easier to get the optimum wind and speed. I was told they are sold in packs of 10, maybe you can find someone who bought them already and bum some off of them. I would give you some of mine if you live on Oahu. JG |
