Anyone know what the new 2011 AI and TI price tags will be? Now that Hobie will be selling their Tandem Island in DUNE (hip-hip-hurrah!), I need to sell my brand new yellow one that's at the dealer. Thank you for listening, Hobie - just wish it happened before I ordered it in yellow. Hey, didn't the brochure show both the AI and TI in dune? |

I suspect they are a couple hundred more. We'll know soon. AI comes in dune too. |

Just got the news from my dealer, and the new Tandem Islands are $300 more. (Ouch!) I may be nuts - - But I did it - - I ordered a DUNE TI! (Can't believe someone already bought my yellow one... Yea!) I'll have to live with the red and yellow AIs for now. I've spent my "fun money" for the next three years. |

Well done mate, I think. How much longer do you have to wait for the new one? What changes warrant the $300 price hike? You cant convince me it was inflation |

How long? I was told to expect it by the end of September. Why the extra $300? Ahh... Unsure. I'm told it's the new price, to go with the new model year. There was added mention of the Tandem Island's "Introductory Pricing" being over, so I guess this is what the retail price will be for awhile. (But I really don't know.) Now to wait for Hobie to sell the TI's optional Jib Kit. (I really want one!) |

Went to the local dealer, hoping for 2011 AI in stock or great discount on 2010... Nope...how about 2010s at greater than 2011 prices, $3,799 for an AI and $5,299 for a TI.  Hello internet purchase, which I have also noticed some places are charging 2011 prices for 2010s.
