Has anyone made a catamaran out of two Mirage Adventure kayaks? |

How would you connect the two hulls? Or is that the main point of your question?  Would be pretty cool if someone find out a good way to do it. I'm not sure I would trust connecting the AKA mounts across hulls with a couple metal bars, I think it would be too much stress on the welds of the AKA mounts, or maybe even the bolts that secure the mounts into the plastic hull.
