Planning on buying a new TI next week but thinking I should wait until the new rudder goes into production. I have two AI's and could wait until the new design. I just don't know how much we will have to "cannibalize" the existing TI hull to retrofit the new systems, what do you all think Wait or buy now???

I'd get it. We've had a blast with ours and still go out with it even with the rudder issues.

I would get it (in fact, I am picking my new TI up next week)! I would hope that the hull will be unaffected (if the designers know what they are doing).

I can't imagine Hobie would design something that would require too much work on the part of the end-user (or the dealers for that matter). It will most likely be a 'plug and play' variety that works with existing hardware. Changing a few bolts will certainly be required but probably not much more than that... I say get yourself a TI before the price goes up! 8)
