Planning on buying a new TI next week but thinking I should wait until the new rudder goes into production. I have two AI's and could wait until the new design. I just don't know how much we will have to "cannibalize" the existing TI hull to retrofit the new systems, what do you all think Wait or buy now??? |

I'd get it. We've had a blast with ours and still go out with it even with the rudder issues. |

I would get it (in fact, I am picking my new TI up next week)! I would hope that the hull will be unaffected (if the designers know what they are doing). |

I can't imagine Hobie would design something that would require too much work on the part of the end-user (or the dealers for that matter). It will most likely be a 'plug and play' variety that works with existing hardware. Changing a few bolts will certainly be required but probably not much more than that... I say get yourself a TI before the price goes up! ![]() |
