Could somebody give me a heads up on what kind of warranty a new TI would come with? I'm very interested in purchasing one but need to know what's covered and for how long.... Thanks! |

Here is the warranty information. Don't let the 2 year term scare you away, the Hobie service is TREMENDOUS. There are many examples of Hobie improving the design of their boats and offering their existing customer's free upgrades. I can think of two such instances off the top of my head. The Adventure Islands had a free Rudder Up Down system that was improved after a year or two, all boats were upgraded for free. Most recently, the Tandem Island was proven to have a rudder issue that wasn't working perfectly for all owners, so Hobie has redesigned the entire system and offered it as a free upgrade to all existing users. They stand behind their products even beyond the warranty. Warranty info below. http://www.hobiecat.com/support/articles/hobie-kayaks-limited-warranty/ |

I'll second that! Hobie's support for their products - even sometimes after warranty expires - was a significant factor in getting me to part with my money! |

Me three! Not only has my local dealer stood behind everything, but so has Hobie. Excellent company. Period. |

Warranty like a bond, warranty when you didnt think you would qualify for the cover. Warranty way beyond what you would expect. These guys honour their customers like no other company. |
