:?: A question for any TI owners, who had rudder pop-out problems this last summer. I live up here in Minnesota. By the time the TI rudder fix was ready, I was not able to sail in any strong winds. I plan to haul the TI with me to Florida this winter and would like to know if the bungee cord did 'fix' the rudder pop-out problem? Any minor adjustments needed after installation?

We've had our TI out twice since installing the temp fix - both in high winds and in more reasonable breezes. Both times it worked like a charm and fixed all the problems we had been having.

Ditto. The Hobie rudder fixes have resolved all my TI rudder issues too.

It fixes the all the problems but it is a bit of a pain because you have to walk the boat out to deep enough water to manually put the rudder down.
