Sorry I dont have any pictures and the boat is in storage for the winter. I will try to explain and keep it simple. You need a small pulley attach to the top of the mass I use a small rope to attach it. You need 30' of line attached to the top part of the sail(head) I use a clip so when not in use the line roll inside the sail the other end , just tie a small loop (so you can still reef when you dont use the jib ,the jib is folded and tie with velcro strap on the deck when not in use), pass the line trough the pulley(that's for raising and lowering the sail along the mass ,uphaul) When the sail is raise tie it to a cleat(I installed one on the front left side of the front aka suport beam) attached rear botom of jib with a short line to the front handle attachment. 15' line attached to the bottom front of the sail Clew(sheet line)(some use two lines starboard and port but for me one work just fine.) I put 2 cleats (one on each side of rear aka suport beam) . when sailing I put the sheet line of the jib around the cleat and secured it on to a clam cleat to lock it in place .(I installed the clam cleats at about midship on the top edge of the boat). Use only the jib in light wind, so you dont put to much stress on the components. Dan |

I added a jib to my Adventure Island, and included a tack line so I can pull the jib back into the cockpit with me when not in use. ![]() |

Very cool! How did you attach it to the top of the mast to where you could still furl the main? |
