Hey Everyone...

I am new to the forum and very new to AI/TI's. I hope this is my first of many posts!

I am finally biting the bullet tomorrow and ordering my TI! I know it is last minute, but I was hoping for any suggestions of things I should order for it and things that I don't really need. All opinions/suggestions welcome.

I hope to be back on here soon with pictures, videos and stories! :)

Thank You.

JB

Hi JB,

I own an AI, not a TI, but I bought mine with the HD cart, and the trampolines. I now consider both of those to be part of the boat. I love the tramps and never sail without them because they offer me another place to sit, although the TI has options for that. The cart is great for my AI, and I can't imagine trying to move around a TI without the cart, so I'd consider that at the time of purchase.

Other then that, welcome to the family, or cult, or whatever this Hobie thing is!

extra rudder pins? drybag? tramps, definitely.

trailer? Have you figured out yet how you are going to transport it?

Yeah! Extra rudder pins, they're cheap, and the boat sails like crap when the one in the rudder breaks. Don't ask how I know!

I've now got a new one in, and two extra in the gear bucket.

Like others have said the most important thing is the Kart, however if i had my chance again i would probably consider one of the many non-hobie karts as you can put them further back(using the standard plug in karts can cause the back of your boat to get scrapped along the ground if you lift the bow to high).
