Post subject:  rudder parts

Hiya,
Thought I'd pop out for a couple of hours tomorrow for my first outing in the new AI, just to check everything is OK, I have two grey rudder pegs in the spares bag, one with a top piece and one without, both are the same length, one is obviously for the rudder, what's the other for or is it the wrong part for the AI?

Cheers

Both are fine. The one with a top piece is the newest design.

They are not really interchangeable though.

The original pin works until you cut away the housing "line guide" just above the pin head on the housing. Once the housing is modified you need the pin with the fat "C" guide shape to take it's place. The fat one will not fit the housing un-modified I believe. The old one will not properly guide the lines on a modified housing causing a hard left turn issue when you let go of the tiller handle.
