I have the Kokatat Tropos Supernova semi-drysuit which I use in very cold/cooler weather. It is not too bad with just a t shirt and shorts under, but it would be nice to get something for warmer weather. In the summer it would be nice to keep the rear dry.

Any suggestions?

BTW, buying the drysuit is the best thing I ever did. I opted for the Tropos over Gortex for the cost, but so far not a drop. I frequently go sailing in the AI even when there is ice on the lake, no problem.

Totally different environment here. Out door life in Florida can take it's toll on the skin. The heat also impacts what you can wear. We started getting pretty toasty about 1 month ago. I use the long sleeve UV protection shirts from different vendors.

Body Glove Long Arm Lycra Rash Guard Shirt, via Amazon is one of the better prices I have found. I suggest ordering one size larger than what you might order in a regular cotton shirt.

Neoprene shorts are quite good for keeping your rear dry.

Rashguards and trunks bought from Sierra trading post.com and sunscreen often is the Uniform of the day when its warm. Water temp is 68 F here now with 80 F days. water will be going up more by the week.

jzk,

I've been getting the best performance using a long sleave paddle shirt from Xcel Wetsuits (Ventx Model, www.xcelwetsuits.com) and a pair of swim shorts with lots of sunscreen on legs or performance running tights (Under Armor) if it's a long run.

The running tights are working well; however, I only found one pair on sale and researching purchasing another one with similar attributes/features. Came across the Zhik's (www.zhik.com) Hybrid line of sailing performance wear. It might be something you're looking for but I don't have personal experience with them. Someone on this forum who has might be able to chime in.

Aloha,

c2y
