Ok, I'm stoked

I've wondered what would happen if a solid carbon fiber moveable frontal wing/spray shield was attached to the AI or TI. :o

I'll let you know what happens (after I get a patent pending on it)

...or beat me to it, :D

My life is a bit busy at the moment, but something I have been kicking around on paper, during spare time. Was thinking of some type of 'cup' or 3 pointed tri-pod (two sides on port/starboard, one on keel), which would fit over the bow of the boat. This could have multiple functions, such as jib/forestay reinforcement, attachments for spray shield, perhaps some planing aspects (attachable fins). A stretch would be a bow sprit.

Light weight, strength, convenience and storage/transport would all be of concern. CF would fit a few of those parameters.
