Help please
I'm trying to find a means to attach 2 scotty rail mount to the rear akas on a 2011 AI.
The present fittings Scotty offers are maximum 1.25" rail diameter . The Akas are 1.5".

The intent is to mount two Spirit Sails (downwind) on the middle of the rear Akas.

The sails are designed to use a Scotty fitting (either deck or rail mounts)
Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards

I made my own clamps on the akas to place scotty mounts onto. Here is the video check it out...

Mista Watta Mon

Waaaaaaay, too funny for this Mon.
(great idea though. I need some serious torque on this as it's the mount for a downwind, sail times two. It's a great idea and really well implemented)
It's also a LOT less expensive than making it work with a 4 bolt RAM mount, the neck for 1.5" balls and a 2X6" base plate (plus machining costs).

Rubber Mon, it's de wave of de Future! 8)

Best to you in Texas
