We've gotten involved with Capt. Bob Nichols and his christian missionary work out of Florida. Bob delivers food and supplies to orphanages in the Bahamas and Haiti using his three masted schooner, "Star of the Sea". Bob is trying to raise money for the orphanages by finding sponsors for him to enter the Watertribes EC300 Everglades challenge in March. He raises funds, to support the ship, to deliver the food to the orphans. Its a good thing. He's got one problem, he doesn't own an AI or TI to use in the race. I am trying to find someone or some company who will loan or maybe rent him a boat for a week cheap. Any ideas? |

He can use my TI, but I have to go too. I would need to know soon to put in time from work. J |

Gringo, I noticed that Bob Nichols (backwaterbob) has registered and paid for a single Class 5. http://www.watertribe.com/Events/ShowRosters.aspx?RaceID=EC2012 If kayakman7 is going with him he will need to modify his registration. |

I think he's still trying to find a boat, and intends to do it solo. I've been looking around but haven't found anything that would help him out, yet. |
