Hello everyone!
A couple years back, I had the chance to sail an AI while visiting my folks in Virginia. Needless to say, I fell in love with the entire concept. After a bit of research, I decided that a TI would be the best choice for me and the family.
Today I took the first step in the process and bought my trailer from Harbor Freight. I will start converting it over to a TI trailer during the next couple of weeks, with Late Feb as the expected purchase date of my TI.
This forum has been so helpful in answering questions that I have had and I hope to be a contributor myself as I develop my own solutions to many tasks and challenges associated with this type of sailing.
I have finally come full circle. I learned as a teenager, over 35 years ago, to sail on a Hobie Cat 14. Soon I will return to the water under the same banner and I could not be more excited.
