Post subject: | Replacing Rudder "Up" Line |
Has anyone replaced their own rudder "Up" line. Mine recently broke & I am unsure if I should attempt a repair w/ current line. Or take to dealer. Any insight would be appreciated |

It's easy, once you understand it. Where did it break? What condition is the rest of the line (should it be replaced)? |

It broke just below the t-handle in front seat. Then retracted inside the boat. I pulled the back seats line out too while not thinking. I will look at the instructions mmiller |

That's an odd place for a break. You probably should look for burrs or some other problem in that area unless it wore out while pulled out. |
