I've been looking at doing something similar for the furling line only. Unfortunately I can't relocate the cleats to that position, as I have Scotty flush-mounts in that spot. How did you go about attaching the harken carbo block to the crossbar - did it fit trhe exisiting screw-holes? Cheers, Mike. |

Hey Hogman, Nice work by the way. I have been looking at doing a similar mod to better position the furling line in the back seat of my TI. I already have the Yakattack track mounts in that position. What fitting did you use in the track mount to be able to flush mount the plate for the Harken cleats. I assume that you made the plate for the cleats out of alloy plate. I see Josh has also used a similar mount on the main sail rope but again, I can't see what fitting to use in the track. All the fittings I have for Yakattack track have a bolt sticking up but not a plate to screw a bolt into and end up with a flush bolt head. Cheers Geordie |
