I get all the other modifications he mentions in his for sale ad, but how on earth did he manage to increase the freeboard? |

You can see a picture of Dogs cockpit area here http://www.hobiecat.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=7276&start=270 Scroll down to "Seats and Seats--WaterTribe 2013" His boat cockpit area is the first picture. He basically covered everything with 1"- or 2"-thick closed cell foam and glued it on with a contact glue. It makes his AI very comfortable for a tough 4-5 day, 50-60 mi/day camping trip. Keith |
