Post subject:  Hobie AI hull height and cradle thickness

Hi, I've a new 2015 AI on order and I'm busy welding up a trailer.

Looking at the specs for the AI it lists a hull height of both 15.5" and 17". I'm guessing that these heights are for amas folded and deployed, but I don't know which is which!. I need to know the folded height... any thoughts?

Also, for those who have the current AI cradles, how thick are the cradles at the centre points?, the ;larger one looks to be a couple of inches?

Cheers

The smaller number of the measured height is for the main hull only, without aka arms or amas attached. The 17" measurement is with ama's attached - folded or deployed.
