I did a search for "windyty" and didn't get any hits so decided to share this site I recently stumbled onto with my fellow wind watchers.

When you do a search the detail map comes up which does not show any overlays. I haven't figured out what to click to make it change to the wind overlay, but this awkward method works: Click the "what shows if you search..." link above then Click the white ">" on the red background to close details, now change the last two digits of the URL from 11 to 8 and press enter - that will bring you to the wind map overlay. Seems to work for any location you search for, not just Oceanside.
