Post subject:	plugin cart wheel less buoyancy
I miss an option of wheels for pluggin cart that can handle the AI and which are not buoyant. (I do not like the idea of filling wheels with water, weigh too much.) Has anyone tried to combine the c-tug kiwi wheel with plug in carts? I prefer to put on and of my heavy-duty carts when I am in the boat when i am in harbor environment. It would be easier if the wheels had less buoyancy. thinking about c-tug "kiwi wheels are compatible with any of hobies plugin carts?

Did you consider the HD cart? 225 LB cap and foam solid tires. Not hard to sink to get under the boat. 80046001 HOBIE HVY DUTY PLUG-IN CART

As Matt suggested the foam filled tires are not that buoyant and it helps somewhat that the buoyancy holds the cart in place while you put the retaining pin in when coming out of the water. In fact you could probably just leave the pin out, I have to later unpin it so the cart falls out as I lift the stern to slide onto the trailer. You want the little cradle too that looks like a mini version of the trailer cradles. It helps support the boat on more than the scupper holes. See my other posts about soft tires received on my recent purchase of this cart. It has since been resolved by Wheeleez but I don't know if anyone has been forward thinking enough to issue any kind of recall. Chris

Hd Cart is the one I use.. Easy to manage if you stand next to the boat in the water Difficult to handle from the upper deck with one hand stretched down into the water balance the cart in and hit the holes even with hd cart i think. I know the trick to remove a wheel, to complicated. Interested in an alternative wheel with less buoyancy, for a quick and simple plug in and play procedure.
