This is the same for all boats / ships... Best with heavier weight in the rear for better steering and tracking control. Weight forward can cause a hull to turn. This makes steering more difficult. In addition, weight forward raises the rudder and reduces steering surface in the water and reduces control further. |

I would mention though that if the weight differential is great enough you can cause the bow to ride higher than normal. This causes issue with tracking as the wind can blow the bow all over the place. Sent from my SPH-L720T using Tapatalk |
