The weight when carting an AI 2 can be a pain if you are quite a distance from the ramp. Here is my latest version, that works like a dream. The 2 swivel wheels keep it stable. No more heavy weight to lift. :D :D

Thanks for posting this. I'm planning to do something similar. Not having to lift would be a big help on a steep boat ramp to get up to the rigging area.

That looks very helpful in some situations, I wonder if there's a caster style wheel that would work in soft terrain

I'm planning to use a wheeleez tuff tire same as the cart but I can imagine using a beach wheel if that is even necessary with the lighter load at the front. I haven't worked out a good bearingless swivel yet to avoid corrosion issues. Maybe a bronze bushing. Thinking out loud.

I'm sure you could do a similar thing with beach wheels. I only really use this set up if I am a long way from the ramp because the scupper cart leaves too much weight at the bow. I can handle the weight ok for short distances. 95% of my launches are at boat ramps, any beach launches are only a very short distance. The idea here was to keep it as small as possible for easy storage.
