What is the spec/ hobie part number for the rivet that holds clamp for the aka brace against the rear aka? Is there a general guide to fasteners used on the T=Islands? specifically in my case for a 2015 TI? I searched and found several rivet guides but they all seemed to be for various models of the fiberglasss cats. |

All rivets for all applications are standardized and follow industry standards for all industries (not just boats). I'm sure if you google it you will find them. i think Hobie uses mostly stainless rivets which take a special rivet tool, and are hard to do, definitely if something broke on your boat take it to the dealer for warranty repair, unless your a mechanical kind of guy and know all this stuff (ie... Rivet standards, and what and what not to use and when and how to apply). Especially with critical components that can cause accidents or injury if the fail. Hope this helps FE |

no, I just wanted to move the little rubber/plastic holder for the ama brace when the ama/ brace is in the retracted position. I'm building some hakas and this little clip is in my way. I can find all sorts of fasteners to do the job, that's not the problem. What it got me wondering about was if there was a guide for all the fasteners used on the TI. There is a rivet guide for the H-16, lists the part number for every rivet on the boat boat.http://shop.mariner-sails.com/Hobie-16- ... e_c419.htm (wxample) I just wondered if the TI had a similar compilation. |
