AI2 Dagger Board Self Deployed on Trailer

Post subject:  AI2 Dagger Board Self Deployed on Trailer
This is not an issue unless your trailer design allows the dagger board to deploy without obstruction.

Mine does allow the dagger board to deploy fully when on the trailer and I did have it self deploy while towing. :shock:

A minor scuff on the bottom leading edge and I now tie a bungie to the handle to keep it stowed while towing.

Doh! I've never had that happen. Although, admittedly I have put the boat in the trailer with the dagger board deployed.

This happened to me once with my 2015 TI. I caught it before we drove very far, so no damage. Good idea on the bungee.

If you pry the top off the dagger-board control knob, you will find there is a means of tightening (with a screw driver or spanner...I just forget which) your dagger-board to prevent it dropping, but don't tighten it too much or it will be too difficult to raise when coming in for a landing.
