Hi folks,just had an interesting few days with mast base stainless steel studs unscrewing from brass base-twice!.Have now used Loctite on stainless stud-problem solved.Test sailed for several hours after reassembly with Loctite and stud is solid as a rock-good news.I was very lucky no damage occurred when stud popped out-I managed to furl sail in time.Happy sailing! |
