With the season over, I'm looking to give my TI a good cleaning. The challenging part is the floor. Since it's designed for traction (rough surface instead of smooth), it's difficult to get stains cleared up. What's everyone using? |

On another brand rotomolded cat I used 'barkeepers friend' both as a liquid and powdered cleaner. |

We have a LOT of boat cleaning experience on all kinds of materials. Our new to us 2014 TI makes boat #11 between the two of us (not including tenders but vessels from 15' - 50' over the past 22 years). Bar keepers has been an excellent cleaner on all of them. The key is it to be careful not to scrub too hard/abrasively and to rinse thoroughly. Also, for some substrates it is best to only use it once or twice year, imho. Such as teak, I feel it strips too much if used too often. Stay away from scotchbright pads too. |
