Hi guys, I'm looking for help from a kindly US-based Hobie/A.I. fanatic in sourcing a few 316 stainless screws. I need these to enable me to relocated the rear crossbar on my A.I. in order to better accommodate the set of T.I. amas I recently picked up. I've tried contacting about half a dozen companies over here in Australia, but no-one seems to supply Imperial sizes here. What I need are two of each of the following size screws (yes, a mere FOUR screws in total): (2 of) Stainless Steel 316 Socket Cap Screws 1/4-20 x 3/4 (like these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/222276851999) (2 of) Stainless Steel 316 Socket Cap Screws 1/4-20 x 2-1/2 (like these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170773800476) I've contacted the ebay sellers of the above examples, but they only sell to overseas buyers in bulk lots and charged about 50 bucks for postage! I'm not really willing to pay $150 for 4 screws, but if there are any of you blokes in the US who'd be able to find these screws and send them to me, I'm more than willing to cover you costs. Here's hoping! Cheers, Mike. |
