Post subject:  Options for a slightly larger thru-hull wiring kit

I'm doing my wiring for a fish finder and my transducer cable has a section on it that is slightly too large for the Hobie thru-hull kit. I need maybe another 1/4" to 1/2". Any options out there for a clean install?

Is the 3 way version a bigger hole than the two way kit?

I have a Tandem Island and I'm installing an Lowrance HDS-7. The issue is the 3d structure scan transducer. On that transducer cable is a box that looks like http://ep.yimg.com/ay/wmjmarine/navico-transom-mount-transducer-for-structurescan-3d-000-12396-001-9.gif . The box is the where the cable coming from the transducer splits its signal into 2 other wires. That box is 1.14" wide which means to fit through a hole it needs to be somewhat larger than that.

I found this product https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MMH1B2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and just went ahead and ordered it. It will support cable fixtures up to 1.4" wide so it should work. I'll post back here once I get it installed.

I see, I have the plain Lowrance Elite 7ti which is similar but only one transducer plug? Sorry, was hoping to help but will be interested in your solution. Good luck. H
