I live on a lake, but have no beach; just a breakwater.

I have a hoist that is 47" maximum width capacity. The single says it is 44" wide with the floaty things folded in. Should I be able to store it on my hoist?

Would I leave the sail on or take it in? If I take it in, do I have to remove the mast also? How long does removing the mast or putting it up take?

Hey, Toller.

I can only speak to the 2015 TI, but our Hobie Cradles are very close to 46" wide. They're 120" apart (outside to outside) on our trailer - the boat does get wider in the center.

The mast and sail are very easy to install and I would advise that you remove it when the boat is out of the water.

Presumably the AI is somewhat less.

Does the boat stick out over the cradle on the side, or is it pretty much flush?
When you say they are 120" apart, you mean front to back, with a 3 or 4 feet of boat over each end?

Thanks
