| Post subject: | Can I store it on a hoist? |
I live on a lake, but have no beach; just a breakwater. I have a hoist that is 47" maximum width capacity. The single says it is 44" wide with the floaty things folded in. Should I be able to store it on my hoist? Would I leave the sail on or take it in? If I take it in, do I have to remove the mast also? How long does removing the mast or putting it up take? |

Hey, Toller. I can only speak to the 2015 TI, but our Hobie Cradles are very close to 46" wide. They're 120" apart (outside to outside) on our trailer - the boat does get wider in the center. The mast and sail are very easy to install and I would advise that you remove it when the boat is out of the water. |

Does the boat stick out over the cradle on the side, or is it pretty much flush? When you say they are 120" apart, you mean front to back, with a 3 or 4 feet of boat over each end? Thanks |
