the bungees that attach the tramps to ama/aka have worn out and need to be replaced. any ideas on how to replace them and make it look like the original? the worn out ones are a single piece of bungee with pieces of metal twisted around the ends to make a loop. they must have been put on the tramps first then the ends clamped with a tool of some sort. i was thinking of just whipping the ends together but what sort of thread would work best with bungee? thanks for any input. |

Google hog rings and hog ring pliers. That's typically what's used to make loops in bungee cord. You can pick them up fairly inexpensively. |
